ABC Dive & Snorkel Port Douglas are a small family business
At ABC, the day starts and ends with our trip. We don’t own multiple boats, we are not owned by a multi national and we don’t have a human resources department. We have always been, and remain, a small dedicated operator focused on providing you with exceptional customer service and a fun day. Our hand picked staff are our most valuable resource and they work hard to ensure that your day on the Great Barrier Reef is a special part of your holiday.
OPTION 1 – Certified Scuba Diving (3 dive day) 4:1 Ratio
Certified diving is for divers that have their own diving licence – These are some of the most common scuba dive certifications PADI, SSI, BSAC, CMAS, RAID, SDI. Diving with ABC means the smallest dive groups our dive ratio 4:1. 4 Divers or less to 1 Instructor/Guide.
OPTION 2 – Introductory Scuba Diving (3 dive day) 3:1 Ratio
Try diving! If you want to try diving for the first time or maybe you have dived before but you do not have a dive certification such as (PADI, SSI, BSAC, CMAS, RAID, SDI, etc) NO PRIOR POOL DAY IS REQUIRED – We do this from our boat. Diving with ABC means the smallest dive groups our dive ratio 3:1. 3 Divers or less to 1 Instructor/Guide.
OPTION 3 – Private Learn to Dive Courses 1:1 Ratio
Being the only small Dive & Snorkel operator in Port Douglas all of our courses we use our own fantastic dive boat. All of our training courses are based on 1:1 teaching. This is in keeping with our philosophy that when you are in a tiny team situation, it creates a more efficient and stimulating learning environment without distractions of large numbers of other people around you.
